Google Play Music uses Machine Learning to Suggest Music


The latest version of Google Play Music uses machine learning technology to find out information like which songs you like most, your location, your activity and climate. Then Google Play Music use this information to present custom music, based on where the user is and who is listening, or whether the user's activity such as relaxing at home, flying, exploring new cities, going out and more.

The feature is available for 62 countries, namely Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
